curiousB
While working on my car I noticed some cracking in the lower arm bushings. Red arrow in the diagram. I can't tell if the tears go all the way through. Wondering if these are the bushings everyone is talking about on the forum. Also how bad is bad enough to bother replacing them? billydpowell
If it is not causing a "sound" or causing your alignment to wear improperly, dont worry, but keep your eye on it from time to time
landar
Those bushings look like they perform the same function as the strut bar bushings on the LS400. When they go bad, you usually hear a clunking sound when going over curbs or speed bumps at low speed especially in the middle of a turn (right or left) as you encounter the bump.
