Door Chime

does anyone have an idea as to why my door chime will continue to stay on after i exit the vehicle?it is weird because it does not do it all the time,but is getting more frequent.it will stay chiming until i get back in the car wich sometimes could be hours.it goes away when key is put in and turned.i have checked all doors to make sure are shut and even turned light to be completely off.can somebody please help me.

Is it the door chime or the sunroof open chime? If it's a door chime it's probably a bad/stuck switch on the door. Is your interior light also staying on?

no all lights are off.i will make sure the sunroof is closed and see what happens.i usually leave it propped up in the garage.yhank you for the info.i will let you know the outcome.
