Check Engine + Trac Off =?

Recommended Posts

I had the same 2 lights on, It turned out to be the after cat o2 sensor.

From what I gather, the computer turns off trac control when the check engine light comes on.

might be something else, better pull the codes to be sure

I got both lights on twice:

first time it turns out cat converter went bad, I did not bother to fix and simply use a $3 resistor to trick the computer and the light went off

2nd time it is P1135, if i remember it correctly i bought it for $100 from amazon and installed it, it was a pain to remove the old one though.
