Engine Coolant Warning Icon

Hi,

I was driving on freeway and suddenly, the Low Engine Coolant Icon lighted up. I stopped and checked the reservoir. Level middle of reservoir (below Cold level mark). Started engine and no icon light from then on. :blink: Any idea?

common problem just check coolant level( like you did) and its ok so the sensor is a bit dirty or worn or what ever it is everybody has the problem. you cand try and clean it or buy a new one

You are not alone. Mine does the same once in a while. As long as it goes off after a few seconds or after restarting the engine and the fluid level is okay - I don't worry about it.
