tofu
Hi all, Yesterday I washed my engine with the engine still running and drove it around for few miles and no problems. This morning driving to work and the CEL came on flashing and the car sound like miss firing. Pull the code and came up P0307,P0100,P0110. P0307 is #7 miss fire, P0100 and P0110 is AMF fault. I am thinking open the distributor cap and blow dry it but not sure which one is which and how hard to take it off. Thanx.
steve2006
Plugs # 1,4,6,7 are fed from the driver's side (RHS looking into the engine bay) distributor getting to it is not a five minute job see link below http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/ignition/distributor_rotor.html When you say AMF do you mean AFM Air Flow Meter? If so all you can do is try and dry it out with a hairdryer both externally and internally by removing the air ducting and aiming inside.
