2001 Ls430 Front Pipe

I have an exhaust leak and must replace the front pipe and catalytic converter on my 2001 LS430. The Lexus part # for this is 17410-50310. Does anyone know where I can get an aftermarket part at a reasonable price. The dealer wants over $1200.00 for this.

If I'm looking at the correct part/assembly (I am not positive I am), Sewell wants $1,100.90 not including shipping which might indicate that your dealer is giving you a good deal off the $1761.44 retail price.

Exactly what is causing the exhaust leak? A crack in the stainless tube and/or casing of the converter? Have it removed and welded up by a professional welder experienced in stainless. Any shop that fabricates restaurant kitchen equipment or a good welding shop can do that easily.
