Lambskin Seat Covers And Factory Heated Seat Option

Greetings from Palm Beach, Florida. I just purchased and installed two sheepskin seat covers. The factory leather is in perfect condition, and my wife and I get 'salty' on the tennis court. I believe the skins will protect the leather from perspiration but am concerned about using the heated seat switch while the leather is covered. Any advice or opinions would be appreciated.
