Side Moldings

I received a coupon for adding side moldings from my dealer. As my 2010 RX 350 doesn't have them, I'm thinking of having them added. My concern is durability and longevity of these accessory moldings. Any experiences you may have with these? I wish they had retained the moldings of previous years when they designed the 2010, but I guess they went out just like wing vent windows. Thanks in advance for all replies. Bill

Are they made by Lexus? Are they pre-painted or does the dealer have to have them painted?

I wouldn't worry about longevity. As long as they're painted properly there shouldn't be an issue. I'm sure they're just applied with 3M tape (which is VERY strong).
