Compact Spare Tire

Hey guys, I've been lurking around here for a bit and decided to finally post.

I have a 2008 RX400h and Halloween weekend I ended up getting a flat. To make a long story short, the flat is damaged beyond repair so I need to replace that as soon as possible. I've been driving around in the spare tire that came with the car. Is this spare tire just like all my other tires (Michelin Energy MXV4 S8) or is it a compact tire?

My spare came with the same tire and wheel as the rest. What does your tire sidewall say? Is the wheel the same? It would be pretty obvious if it was a compact spare.

As far as I know, the spare si the same as the other tires. You should check the sidewall.

I wasn't able to check out the sidewall until today and turns out that it is indeed the same as every other tire.

Yeah...pretty obvious if its a compact spare.

Kind of like buying a red shirt and asking if it was green or red...

Lexus is one of the last companies left that offers a full sized spare. Huge wheels and tires and de-contenting have brought back the compact spare.
