I have a 2006 SC 430. My cell phone provider is Verizon Wireless and I have a cell phone manufactured by LG. I have frequent problems with the bluetooth connection including neither being able to hear a caller nor have them hear me. Is there a problem with LG compatibility? What cell phone manufacturers should I choose from?

Thank you,

Paul

I can tell you with certainty it is probably the phone. I used Verizon for several years and bought a 'parrot' device for my wife to use and I had a very difficult time getting it to work with my LG phone. Finally, after they raised rates on us...again...I got mad and switched to AT&T and

bought my wife a iPhone. It worked with the parrot right out of the box.

Right, but the Parrot is specifically made to work with the iPhone while the iPhone, due to it's "unusual" implementation of Bluetooth will not work with many other OEM and aftermarket Bluetooth systems and kits.

I have a verizon LG phone and have had the same problem with the bluetooth in my RX. The problem seems to come about when you never turn the phone off. To cure it, just cycle the power on the phone. It seems to happen after a couple of weeks for me.
