ClarkKent
Does anyone know how to install a HID conversion kit on a 2001 ES300? I am having trouble securing the HID bulb onto the housing. The original bulb is plug into this adapter which is secured to the housing by the metal clip. The HID bulb doesn't plug into the adapter, therefore, the metal clip is just too loose without using the adapter. Appreciated if someone can show step-by-step with pictures on how this can be done. Thanks in advance.

cduluk
H7 is a weird bulb type... Look here and see if this write-up (for another car, but same type bulb) helps at all. http://www.imazda.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2508 and this http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=227310
ClarkKent
Thanks and it's very helpful. I'm able to install the HID conversion kit with a little modification on the metal clips with less than 1-1/2 hours. Thank you once again and the lights look great
