Speedometer Dimming

Hi all. I'm the newbie with question that been probably asked/answered a gazillion times. I ham the proud owner of a 1993 SC400. My speedometer/odometer/climate control/radio lights have dimmed and now are completely gone. The dealer wants $1500 to repair it all (plus the core head). Any suggestions? I found a website www.lextech.org (Lextech Lighting). Anyone with any experience with this company? Pay "The Man"? Go to the salvageyard? Any help will be GREATLY appreciated.

lextech, highly recommended!! good product, nice warranty, and decent pricing.... if you go to the salvage yard you dont know how much longer its going to last before you have to get another one, if you go to the dealer you will pay an arm and a leg... lextech is the best option

Unfortunately there aren't many other companies that fix these parts because Lextech has a patent. Their work isn't very good, but its your only option unless you do it yourself.
