seabird Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 last night i left my headlights on and the battery was dead by morning. after boosting it i went to use the power hatch and it does not work...any ideas? note - hatch was working fine the previous day. thanks rob
maseace Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 Did you drive it for a while (20-30 min) to fully charge the battery? If the battery is low, the hatch may not have enough power to work.
jgr7 Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Don't your lights turn off after awhile even if you leave them on? My lights will turn off after 5 min or so even when not in auto. Jeff
bestcar111 Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 My 07 rx350 battery died and the pwer windows didnt function properly for some time after installing a new battery its been over a year and they been fine since that first or second day. I dont know why? computer? any way hope your problem fixes itself like mine did!
maseace Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 After disconnecting the battery (or if it gets too low), the power windows/moonroof need to be initialized to "relearn" their position by doing a manual open/close cycle on each one at each door switch. The switch light will blink until this is done.
