jasperaxle Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 I just noticed all the power outlets (Cigarette Lighters) are not working in my 05 LS430. Checked the fuses for all of them and they are all good. Does anyone know if there is anything else I can check?

jasperaxle Posted August 25, 2010 Author Posted August 25, 2010 My cellphone charger suddenly stopped working in any outlet I tried it in so I tried in my wifes car to make sure it wasnt the charger itself. I also tried the cigarette lighter and that didnt work either. As I said I check all fuses per the ownwers manual but they were all ok.
landar Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Next, I would use a voltmeter to measure the fuse terminals of the outlet fuses. Connecting the - probe to ground(chassis) and the + probe to each side of the fuse socket(remove the fuse), what do you get for readings? For grins and giggles, you might also put the meter on the ohm scale and measure the resistance of the fuse itself. Let us know what you get for readings.
