Tar On Es350 Leather Seats

Not sure how it happened but my wife's ES350 has two large spots (dime sized) on her heated leather seats.

What should I use to remove the tar and not damage the leather.

Sorry about your problem. Steve, SW03ES, is the forum manager and is an expert on this type of thing. I can tell you this, DO NOT try to clean off the tar yourself. Unless Steve has a better suggestion I would definately take my $42,000 car to A professional auto detailer and spend $50-75.00 to have the tar stains worked on. In my experience they may not be unable to completely remove all of the stain.

Yeah I agree, this is something you really need to leave to a professional. You need to use some sort of cleaner that will attack the tar without attacking the leather, I'd let a pro do it.
