Wheel Failure

Florida resident. 2006 ls430 64000 miles purchased new. The finish is peeling [?] off the wheels. I thought the wheels were a solid alloy. None of my previous cars had this problem and one was an RX300.

I am asking for opinions and advice.

are your wheels chrome or silver painted?

Either way, you're going to have to replace them. You "could" have them stripped and re-painted, but it'll be more costly than just getting replacements, and most likely won't hold up.

Try to find a set of used ones from eBay or car-parts.com
