BUFUB
Hello all: I'm a new member to this board, with a new RX330. I see a lot of reference to dealers in the posts. Does anyone on this board do their own work? I'm not interested in giving routine work to the dealer. Has anyone noticed the cruise control dumps its memory if you slow to a stop? It has to be reset when speed is resumed. The dealer tells me that's normal. So Lexus designed a cruise that operates differently than any other manufacturer in the business? SW03ES
Thats not normal in any Lexus I've ever driven... Try another dealer... Welcome to the LOC!
amf1932
It's normal for the cruise to lose memory when you slow down below a certain speed. This also happens with other manufacturers car, namely Acura's or Honda's.
SW03ES
Mine doesn't, at least I don't think it does... If you think about it it would make sense as a safety feature, if you're doing 30 and you had been doing 80, you can't bump the lever and then rocket off...
