What is the procedure to add fluid after changing filter and draining tranny? No dip tube to add fluid. Is there a sight / fill plug on the transmission case? It's really REALLY rare to see a 1994 LS430 not to mention the ultra low milage. JK If its a 94 check out lexls. If its a LS430 good luck. The tranny is supposedly sealed for life. curiousB Posted May 3, 2010 Share Posted May 3, 2010 Well Lexus doesn't have a level check tube or convenient fill port as the unit is lubricated for >100K miles from the factory. Hard to believe this is a good idea maybe they looked at the risk of incorrect fluid or too much fluid added and said its actually better to not let owners or inexperienced maintenance people play around with fluids. What kills me is my dealer lists transmission fluid flush as a service at the 30/60/90k service intervals and I thought I was paying to have this done yet it never has been......
