2010 Es Use With Ipod

I have some questions regarding use of an IPOD with the 2010 ES.

Can you fast forward and rewind during a particular track? If so, how?

When scrolling by Artist, as I page down, the top track on every page automaticlly starts to play unless I page down very quickly. Is there a way to stop this?

Mine does the same thing. Have you found a solution yet? Very annoying.

I listen to my Ipod Books, and it's important that I start the book, right where I stopped it the last time. My Ipod in my wife's new 2010 RX350 starts wherever I was when I started the car. The 10 pound manual says if it is Ipod mode, it will start where you stopped it, but it doesn't. I called Lexus Customer Service, and the answer they gave was they know about the problem, and are working on it!
