w1fzt Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 I have an '07 ES350 that the drivers door window slips out of position when lowered, then I can't close it without grabbing the window and pulling up on the front side to get it back into position. If I could figure out how to remove the door panel I could probably fix it. Anyone know how to remove the door panel?
mhawkin1 Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Can we assume the car has more than 50,000 miles and is outside of its warranty?
gordonw Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 I doubt you can fix it permanently as the problem is probably the window glass itself. One the plastic tabs on the bottom of the glass may have come loose or broke off. That part unfortunately is not serviceable. Normally the window glass is replaced.
ctES3502007driver Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 I have exact the same problem, did not expect it from lexus at all. Can someone let me know if its worth to remove door panel and see what is wrong and try to fix it. Or just to brake my checking account and go to the dealer . First lexus I own, never had problem like that before on any of my cars. Thank you
