meghan88
I have a 92 sc400 and when I bought it, it didn't have the CD changer. I installed the original changer from a 93 sc300 and the changer gets power (the eject button lights up), but it doesn't do anything else. When I push the CD button on the radio, it sometimes says "open", but most of the time it doesn't say anything -- like it doesn't even recognize the changer. I also tried putting in the 93's amp in my car, but it only has two plug spots and my car has three plugs. I'm going crazy listening to only the radio!! Any suggestions? Thanks ahead of time! grnsc40095
meghan88, Your problem is you can't use a Sc300 amp in a Sc400 (your car) not compatible. You need a Sc400 amp. This Sc vendor has one, but it's pricey. I would email him and try to drop the price. Good Luck! I was just thinking maybe the changer wasn't compatible w/ it, and that's why I tried the other one. But anyways, the sc400 amp is back in my car...
