Texus-Lexus Posted November 13, 2009 Share Posted November 13, 2009 Hello, I would like to say thanks before hand because i have been reading this forum for about a week and have learned alot. I recently purchased a used 1994 ES 300 which has only 100,000 miles on it and the interior is perfect the paint is a little worn. My problem is that i am getting misfire codes on cylinders 2,4,6 and my mechanic says that the computer is messed up. I got this car for cheap but i drove it home about 30 miles and had no problems all windows radio lights and AC worked fine but my instrument cluster is a little dim. I need to know how much and from where should i buy a new computer or should i just try to get it reflashed.The mechanic says that he really cant start working on the problem without getting the computer fixed first.
