bwarner
I just replaced the L & R upper control arms on my 93 LS400. It drives fine. About a week after the install, I'm getting a squawk on front left if I cross a deep bump such as the mouth of driveway or sewer lid. I took it back to the shop that did the work, which is very reputable. They checked everything out saying that all is fine and everything is nice and tight - as it should be. Shocks are also fine. Any ideas of what this might be? Could the springs or something have moved during the install of the the upper control arms? I'm going to bring it back again. Can anyone suggest what I might have them look at next? By the way... I got very high quality arms from a guy on ebay. 1st quality. edellbay
amcdonal86
Hi, worn upper strut mounts can cause noises such as the ones you described.
