ok guy here is the deal.. just picked up this car from a guy i work with . he bought the car late last year and has dump a ton of money in it . car looks very clean body wise. this is what he had done to it. Jan. of 09 he did the rear main seal, torque converter, main fuse, tranny fluid, front rotors and pads, to the tune of 1400.00. Then aug of 09 he did tranny transaxle, both valve cover gaskets, oil pressure sending unit, steering gear and power steering pump. got done car ran sweet for a month. then all the power windows and sun roof stoped working. he has a freind gump out a wire in the power window control box to grt the driver window to open. 2 days later tranny wont go in to any gear but reverse. he parked the car for two months gets feed up and sells it to me for 1100.00. have all the the paper work from brake world who did the work. this may sound dumb but any chance the wire job for the p.w. has any thing to do with the tranny??? just cant see r and r the trany for the rear main seal and torque converter with out inspecting the tranny. from all i have read reverse is the gear you loose first when the tranny goes. any ideas where i should start? ty all for your help

First thing I would do is remove the "friend wiring" patch, and see where you are. Next disconnect the cables from the battery and let it set for an hour or so, hook it back up and then see if anything is different. hopefully something will have changed.... for the better.

post your results.. cheers.
