daisy_cutter
2000 GS400 @ 75,000 miles. The bushing in the right upper control arm is worn to the point that I have the GS shimmy. Everyone of the aftermarket parts suppliers in my area tell me they recommend the OEM control arm because the aftermarket replacements are defective. I'm not interested in replacing the bushing. The upper ball joints will need to be replaced soon enough. Can anyone recommend an aftermarket upper control arm from a manufacturer they trust? The Mevotech replacement for the entire unit is $268 on-line. Is anyone familiar with the "aftermarket units are defective" claim? Thank you kindly for any assistance. OEM Is the only way to go IMHO. ;)
