Silverstreak Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 I own a 2004 LS 430 with 19,250 miles on it. It will be six years old in December. I only use synthetic oil and have it changed every six to nine months. Other than oil changes and tire rotation the only other service I have done was two years ago when I had the air filter and a/c cabin filter changed and the brake fluid flushed. Looking at the service guide, the only other maintenance I see is at 72 months when they recommend the transmission fluid be changed. Is there anything else I should be doing?
1990LS400 Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 I could be wrong but I was thinking that the maintenance schedule for your 2004 LS430 was essentially the same as for my 2000 LS400. Does your maintenance manual say to replace the timing belt every 90,000 miles or 72 months and the coolant and brake fluid every or 30,000 miles or 24 months?
