LEX-SV Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Tragic situation with less than competent driver operating the vehicle in a very stressful situation (incorrectly installed floor mat jammed accelerator). And now NASA has helped in the work to determine electronic interference wasn't an issue. As of today, numerous safeguards have been implemented via production changes and recalls to older cars. My 07 IS350 was subject to those recall fixes.
