Lexusfreak
I just purchased two of these for my vehicles. A few of the best on-line sites I have found are... U.S. Vendors... http://www.qwikvalve.com/home.php http://www.quickoildrainvalve.com/ Canadian Vendor... http://www.ezoildrain.com/ From what I have heard this is a pretty neat device & makes doing your own oil changes much less messy & saves you time (no more crush washers or drain plugs!). All Lexus models need the F-103 valve or the F-103N - with the 'nipple' attachment depending on your needs.
immax01
I never thought of oil changes as difficult. Considering that all this valve does is save you from removing the bolt, for $26 after shipping... I think I will continue to unscrew the drain bolt. If i could buy one of these at a store for $6 i probably would. Not $26 though. Just my opinion though. Pretty cool in principle though. EDIT* If I ever HAD to replace my drain bolt, I would buy one of these, but i wouldnt buy it to replace something that does the job already. One thing this valve does is prevent oil from getting all over your hands, & the like (I change mine when it's hot & even wear gloves) so it prevents a possible mess.....I feel the price is well worth it for less aggravation & more convenience. Also works well for those that do an oil anylasis....you can control the flow of oil.
