JoeDag Posted August 6, 2009 Share Posted August 6, 2009 I have a 1995 ES 300 and always keep the Overdrive switch to the ON position. However, during the last 6 months the overdrive light on the dashboard periodically blinks on and off and the engine warning light comes on. Typically, the next day there is no longer a problem when I start the car. Now the engine warning light is always on, regardless whether the overdrive light blinks on and off. I've had a dx run, and retrieve code # Po773 comes up -- transmission related problem. I'm told that this may be a faulty torque convertor solenoid or just a bad circuit. It doesn't seem to affect performance. However, I cannot re-new my registration with the engine warning light on. No one seems to be able to fix the problem. Has any one had a similar problem?
