Trac Light Solid (sub O2 Sensors Replaced)

I have a '95 SC400. About a year and a half ago, my traction began to kick in and out. (With the engine light and trac-off light turning on, and sometimes the trac light atop would stay solid as well.) So I decided I would finally get it fixed this summer, because the lights were annoying me. I pulled the codes 27, 29, and 41. Which correspond to the 2 sub oxygen sensors, and TPS. Both sub O2 sensors were replaced, but not the TPS, as my usual mechanic was unsure if it was the one needed or if it was something else causing that error (there are two in this car), and said I should find somebody with experience working on the traction control with Lexus vehicles. (I live where there is no Lexus dealer, and only a couple guys do imports.) The engine light and trac-off no longer show up in my dash, only the trac light at the top appears solid all the time.

So I find a guy who does a lot of import here, and probably the only one worth trying, and although I was unable to get any codes from my car (the engine light would just flash when I tried to get the codes) he managed to get the 26 code (he has a more proper appliance for checking older imports). Anyways, he says it's the throttle control unit, and that he basically didn't know how long it would take for him to take it out and see what is going wrong, or the other option would be to get a new one which he wasn't sure how I'd get a hold of one. (I looked at the prices for these, and around $1000+ seems to be it, but they are also rare.) I should also mention at around the same time my traction control stopped working, some sort of rodent had made a nest behind the trac box/engine in my car, and this could very well have something to do with my problems, yet nothing chewed has been found yet.

My question is, will my car be fine if I just leave it like that? I've been driving it without traction for a long enough while now, and even during the winter, so I don't really care for it much and would rather just save my money. I'm just worried if it will affect the driveability of my car later on if I keep driving it? (Other than the trac not working, my car runs fine, gas usage seems to be the same, acceleration, etc. as when I first got it. Any other ideas as to the problem?

EDIT: It's been a week since I replaced the oxygen sensors, and now the engine light and trac-off light is on.
