ravensfan55
I was washing my mom's '05 RX earlier and when I went to dry it, I noticed a rather large area on the roof between the windshield and sunroof where it appeared that the paint had lost its adhesiveness to the body and was bubbling. There was one large bubble and a few smaller ones around it. I did not notice this when I was washing the car, only when I went to dry it. For some history about the car, it was bought in March of this year, about 40k miles, only one previous owner. The Carfax was clean on the car and it was bought from a Toyota dealer where we have bought two previous cars (1 Lexus, 1 Toyota), and have had no problems with either. I know the dealer will have to fix this, but what will they do and how much will it be? When she purchased the car she also got the Lexus Extra Care Platinum service contract, will this be covered under it?
