Androu
Hey everyone, i have a 2000 Lexus RX300 SUV and im using the stock deck. I have a high/low converter that is wired like so The black and red lines that run off are positive and negative that are spliced into one of my rear speakers, and G is the optional ground (The positive and negative of the left side is looped into the right side, this was done by an audio installation professional). I have 2 12" subs in this exact box: The 2 subs are Alpine 12" SWE-1243 250 rms 700 peak and the amp is Alpine MRP-M500 Per channel into 2 ohms: 500W x 1 RMS The 2 subs are connected in parallel to make them output at 2 ohms (if thats what connecting them in parallel does when they are 4 ohms) with this whole setup, my system barely bumps, like nothing rattles, its just soft bass and its not too loud at all. My friend has a VW jetta with the stock deck and the same high/low converter and my amp and subs are both twice as powerful and his system pounds compared to mine. I am very dissappointed with the output, any suggestions to make this system rlly pound?
