I went to the Toyota dealership and they said the part would be $299 and the labor $150. Does this sound about right? Thanks for your help! Here's the deal, the dealer will replace the tip which is welded to the resonator. The resonater is the final section of your exhaust system. This part lists for $270, however can be purchased online for slightly less. The part can also be easily installed by you if you are so inclined. If you are ONLY concerned about the way the rusted tip looks, then you can go to your nearest performance autopart store to fine a nice chrome/stainless tip that will slide over the existing tip and the bolt/clamp will hold this on for years.
