cduluk
Hey guys. I've been thinking about getting chrome wheels for my Rx400h, but i'll need a winter set as well. I think ill have my present ones chromed (or have them switched for chrome ones) which will leave me with nothing when the winter months come. So, i'm in need of 4 oem rx400h wheels. I'm looking on ebay and have found only two priced less that $150+shipping... I'd like to get the set of 4 for under 600 or somewhere around there. Anyone know somewhere else i could try? I don't need them to look pretty (meaning they can have slight curb rash and chips etc) they just need to be the rx400h style and be true and round and hold air. Since i'll use these for my winter months, i don't care how they look... any input appreciated! Thanks
Gryphon
It is possible that you might find some OEM "take-offs" at dealers, athough I doubt that many 400h's are sold with aftermarket or chromed rims. Try dismantlers/recyclers. Tom

Thanks Hi, I am willing to let you have my oem rx 400h wheels for 600 $ - They are perfect but the summer tires are a bit tired... I am buying the 20' AEZ Phoenix black instead. The only problem I see, is I live in Geneva (Switerzland). Otherwise, good luck in yr search.
cduluk
Hi! Are your oem tires size 17" or 18"? Apparently The rx400h models came with two size rims, either 17inch or 18inch. also, could you find out how much shipping cost would be from your location to Rhode Island USA 02917? Thanks! Gryphon
Try recyclers/dismantlers with wrecked Lexuses. Times are tough in their industry, like many others. Tom

Thanks! Hi! They are 18' As far as price of shipping, assuming an average weight of 15kg, I looked at the Swiss Post Office site and I get to the astronomic cost of about 100$ per wheel...And that would not be express or any special handling... Needles to say, I strongly advise you against it...

Gryphon
Undoubtedly Obama will be in Geneva before year's end on some sort of boondoggle. Ask him to throw the wheels into Air Force One. Tom
