mike napoli
I have a p0135 code bank 1 sensor 1 , I think that is on cyl 1 before cat. My question is ar all sensor's the same quality, I see sensors that the wires must be crimped , Generic and half the price, also dose the cel have to be reset or will it reset itself after the sensor is replace'd.... George_Jetson
You are correct that bank one is on the same side as cyl 1 ( unfortunate for you, this is the hard one to reach0. I prefer bosch, and yes I buy the generic. Make sure your connector is in good shape before ordering a replacement. I do not like crimp connectors, I prefer to solder and heatshrink the connection, it is more repliable. Finally, once the error is corrected, after so many drive cycles, it should clear itself, (I do not remember exactly how many).
