U.k. Owner Needs Help

Hi, Im a member from the LOC UK site and just want some help....

i have a 2002 is300 and require the dvd reader which sits in the trunk next to the spare wheel - it reads the dvd navigation disc.

-this reader is very expensive here in the uk to buy even 2nd hand and i have managed to find one on ebay from usa, which including shipping is very cheap compared to uk prices.

My question is, if i buy one from usa will it work/read the dvd discs in my UK is300? ,

Take a look at the parts list for the U.S. and U.K. 2002 IS navagation system:

There have been a number of threads on this and other Lexus forums about where people have taken U.S. specification Lexus vehicles to Europe and then found that the navigation systems could not be made to work there.
