Boggy Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 I have 2004 Lexus LX470. The engine runs 56K. At what mile do i have to have the timing belt replaced? What other parts should be replaced together when the timing belt is replaced? Thanks.
lenore Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 The belt should be good till 90k miles. I just did this on my daughters Sequoia, (same engine) I replaced the timing belt, water pump, and idlers. Took me 5 1/2 hours and the OE parts cost around $240. Dealership would probably charge around $1400..... by the way her belt had 105k miles.
