holeshot808 Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 1992 SC400 New Coil Packs Replaced ECU Engine is warm and shut down for about 5 minutes or more. At restart the engine will not maintain idle and dies in park. Takes about 5 times to start and idle properly. If I turn the key on and off for about 3 to 5 times without starting the engine, the engine then starts and idles properly without dying. Does this sound like a fuel residual pressure problem. It starts and idles without any problem when the engine is cold. What's the problem? What can I check if I put a fuel pressure on the system?
SKperformance Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 It is your IACV on your throttle body as well as the throttle plate. Easy check is to press the throttle lightly and it runs fine.
