AzHotLS
The center visor (above rear view mirror) on my 95 won't stay up. It looks like the assembly can be removed. Where are the tab points? Has anyone else had this and fixed it rather than replace? If so, how did you get it to stay up? I saw a post on the CL forum where someone suggested velcro, I guess that's a plan B option. Plan C would be to buy a new one: Center visor

cmshoot
Mine did the same thing on my '00 LS400. On mine, you just pop the entire assembly out. I worked under it with a wooden popsicle stick and popped it out. On mine, there is a metal clip/spring assembly that holds it together, and also provides the pressure to keep the visor in position. The metal clip is held in place by 3 melted plastic tabs. When the center tab breaks, you have no more spring pressure to hold the visor in place. I "glued" mine back with Brownell's Acraglas (it's used for bedding rifle stocks and such) and it's working perfectly. I'm sure that there are adhesives available at the hardware store that would do the same.
