jcrome04
HI beam + Low beam HID The bulb itself mechanically pulls back with a magnet to create a high beam pattern. So you don't loose your high beams. Better than a dual filament HID. Remember, the only dumb question is one not asked! ;)

jcrome04
You have a 96 i see? You'd need an H4 as well. Fogs = 9006 HI's = 9005 low/HI = 9003/H4 6000k would be significantly blue. 4300k-5000k for the brightest, best output. ~3000k golden yellow ~4300k natural sunlight ~5000k pure white .. Here's a good link for the color temps http://www.xtremehids.com/index.php?cPath=...395ab2fad1d132b

jcrome04
5000k is a pure white. just BARELY any blue noticeable. 6000k is much more blue. Kind of like the tuner halogen bulbs with blue glass... Mostly white, but a lot more blue. Oncoming traffic will see them mostly as blue. 6000k is cool if that's what you want. Anything over 6000k really has horrible output. I personally would never go over 5000k cause I love the pure white look. And it get's the most light on the road. I haven't ordered yet. Want to soon. jcrome04
Trunk wiring is the best fix ever B) My old 91 LS got to 186k and never needed it fixed. (luckily) Keep us posted on it, whether it fixes or not.
