Engine Won't Stay On

Hello,

I have a 2002 RX300, and today I went to start the car, but the car will not stay on unless I hold down the accelarator. As soon as I release the accelarator the car shuts off. Ive cleaned the throttle body, used a fuel system treatment, had an idiot mechanic stop by and he had me replace the MAF Sensor.....DID NOT WORK! Can someone please point me in the right direction. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
