Fuel Filter

Where is the fuel filter on a 2000 LS400? I have 130,000 miles and it is original. Yesterday it started then stopped and would not restart. After sitting and a lot of cranking it finally started. This repeated another time. All of this while parked in my garage. I am wondering if the fuel filter needs replacement? Not sure where it is located.

did your check engine light come on? if so i would find a way to get a diagnostics done, whether you rent the tool from an auto parts store or borrow from someone...that should be your first step.

Did you just fill up with gas?

where there any symptoms before this occurance?

The Fuel Filters are a lifetime design, so if you decide to replace it, make certain that is your issue.

good luck on the venture!! :)

No check engine warning or lights came on. Started great this morning. Maybe a can of sea foam and fill up would help. Currently half full of gas.
