When can i change to synthetic? do i need to be easy on the car for first 500miles or what??? give me pointers.. thank you! -flea
smooth1 Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 I always run conventional oil in it for about 1000 miles, then switch it to synthetic. This allows the valves to seat first, and the bearings and journals to fit up together and break in properly.
