Speedemon Posted February 21, 2009 Share Posted February 21, 2009 The rear sunshade on my '01 LS430 doesn't retract correctly, it skips a little and doesn't retract all the way, it seems that I need to adjust the spring tension on the winding unit. I'd imagine it's set up similar to those shades that you can pull down in a home. With those you disconnect one side of them and wind it up a turn or two and reconnect them to add more tension. Anybody ever fix one of these before? Anyone know how to remove it or to remove the rear deck cover, I'd imagine the rear seat backs would need to come out so the rear deck could come off so I could get to the shade. It is not accessible from inside the trunk so it appears to have been installed from the inside of the cabin. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
