Beepa Posted February 9, 2009 Share Posted February 9, 2009 I use a cassette insert to play my GPS Mp3 files through the car's speakers. The sound has become scratchy, especially with slightly higher volume during Interstate speeds. I suspect the tape heads need cleaning, but I tried doing it with a lint free Q-tip and some denatured alcohol through the slot opening. No luck. Anyone know how the tape heads can be cleaned?
