nivlac0000
Folks happy new year, I have a 1994 Lexus GS300 and it is having problems turning over to start. When I turn the key partially to listen for the fuel pump, I have noticed a ticking noise for about 5 seconds. I was having idle problems earlier so I decided to change the Spark Plug & wires in hopes that this would improve. It was a big job trying to get to all the plugs, but I was able to change them all. I have also verified that I reconnected all of the connections and vacuum lines. It seems like something is either connected wrong or not at all. Can someone please give me some advice to what I should do next to help me get my baby started again? Thanks

nivlac0000
Correct, The vehicle only cranks and cranks until batt is drained. I have also noticed that I do not smell gas after continuous cranking. I am starting to think fuel pump system. Any recommendations to test?
