duffmansean
Well I'm doin this on my bb so please bear with me. I've never received any help from anyone on my previous posts so hopefully this one won't be the same. But I digress. The other night while driving in north park in san diego doing a bit of speeding in a slightly unfamiliar area I hit one of those worthless dips at a speed I can't even recall. Needless to say she bottomed out like no other and may have even bounced I'm not quite sure. But now the rear suspension feels completely thrashed and really gummy and unstable. The left rear I believe has a squeak over any kind of bump or unsmooth road condition. There is also a metal bouncy sound as well similar to vibration from around the same location. I can't replicate the sound when the car is sitting. There was a plastic cover over the left strut? That was cracked I removed that. Also a metal support beam that looks like it went over the catalytic converter or sortsthat was knocked loose on one side I also removed that. I drove it after this and essentially no change. I also noticed fluid maybe oil or transmission on the bottom of that large pan in the rear between the mufflers. No visible crack or hole and no pooling on the street. Its already apparent I'm going to have to replace something on the suspension especially since its an 02 wit 120k but I'm broke till jan so can't do anything bout it till then so I really could use well need some insight on this please. Anything at all thanks guys.
mlgs300
Almost sounds like you blew the strut out. Are those the original struts?
