Heavy Vibration After Halfshaft Replacement- 96 Es300

Well, I've researched this a lot and after bringing it to a mechanic and Les Schwab (mechanic's idea) I have come to this board for help.

Thanksgiving week my dad and I replaced the driver's side CV halfshaft on my 96 Lexus ES300. We got a Duralast part from Autozone (part no. 7429N) and for about a whole week it was perfect. However, suddenly one day, the car began to shake during speeds 35mph and up. After looking at it, we brought it to our mechanic and he diagnosed it as the lower control arm bushings. $300 later and replaced bushings, the problem is still there.

So, I brought it back to him. He looked at it for a day and said it had something to do with the tire, but he didn't have tire balancing equipment. He moved the tire to the back and said to get it balanced.

Today, I brought it to Les Schwab to get it balanced. After an hour and a half wait, the guy came back in saying there was no balance issue. So, I'm stuck again.

I have a few notes on it. One, the clicking sound that the old halfshaft made is gone, but replaced with a more spaced apart clicking sound that only happens every so often. I also cannot tell myself if it's the tire or the halfshaft, as the vibration feels the same as it did - I can't tell exactly where it's coming from. I can hear a sound that sounds like a loosely bolted tire, but it's bolted on very tight, and we've mounted it multiple times.

Check the noise by rotating the tire while off the ground. Maybe you main axle bearing is going bad.... Also check the halfshaft where it plugs into the tranny, sometimes the clip breaks and the shaft walks out from the tranny but still drives. Normally tranny fluid would leak there also....
