Androu Posted December 8, 2008 Share Posted December 8, 2008 Hello everyone, i have a 2000 RX300 and my remote control is giving me a hard time. Everytime i want to lock or unlock my doors i have to either press the buttons hard or at least several times. So i changed my battery, but the new battery doesnt work at all, and when i replace the old panasonic battery the buttons work again (with difficulty) anyone know the problem? do i have to use a panasonic battery? cduluk Posted December 10, 2008 Share Posted December 10, 2008 It doesn't matter what battery type you use, just as long as it's the same size. Make sure it's flipped the correct way- the larger flat side of the battery is (+) while the smaller flat side of the battery is (-). If the polarity of the battery is incorrect, it won't work.
