Runs great........t belt and h2o just done......Last issue to be a great car is: O/D light is blinking. Starts out in 2nd gear....no kickdown into 1st. Manually though it shifts through all gears fine. Pulled the code , got a 62 for solenoids and just replaced those and speed sensor. Still no change. Code still reads 62. homemechanic Posted December 6, 2008 Share Posted December 6, 2008 sometimes these tranny codes don't really point you to the right direction. changed the solenoids + sensor and still not working. perhaps might not be the sensor and solenoids. this could mean the valves or accumulator or other parts inside the tranny is bad. i don't think you need to tear down the tranny completely to have an idea what the problems are. you might need to remove the filter and valve assembly to check the problems. another word. . see a tranny doctor. George_Jetson Posted December 14, 2008 Share Posted December 14, 2008 I looked up the code, and it states that sol #1 is less than 8 ohms, or more than 100k ohms. Since you have allready replaced the solinoids I would suggest pulling the connecotr at the controller and ohming the harness to the trans. You probably have a open in the harness down to the trans.
